Our WineMeet our growers and their amazing Italian wines.
Fattoria Calcabrina has been producing wine in Montefalco for 15 years and works with indigenous grapes such as Sangiovese and Sagrantino.
We are delighted to be working with Diego and Mirco to bring you some of their latest wines: a Sangiovese and a Merlot, both unfiltered and full of Umbrian goodness.
Carlo Tabarrini set up this small winery that produces wine from old clones of Sangiovese, Grechetto and Trebbiano grapes without controlling the temperature and no filtration.
He now sells his wines around the world and we are pleased to bring to the UK this season 4 Margo wines including an orange wine
Chiesa Del Carmine
The Carmine Estate has a rich history of wine making and was brought back to life recently by the team at Chiesa del Carmine who now farm 6 hectares of close planted, south westerly facing vines
All their wines are produced according to Organic farming principles and we have small quantities of White, Red and Rose for sale, including their award-winning Trebbiano Spoletino.
Located on the Strada del Vino running alongside Lake Trasimeno in Umbria the Carini farm produces some fantastic blended organic wines which we can’t get enough of
For this season we have a medium bodied Gamay-Sangiovese red (Oscano) and a crisp Grechetto-Trebbiano-Chardonnay white (Rile)
