A 2016 100% Sangiovese produced at their biodynamic farm on the slopes of Montefalco. Foglio 61 stays on its skins for 18 days and then in stainless steel tanks for a year.
It is ruby red in the glass with fruity notes of cherry and spice such as clove and pepper. It is a wine of good structure with crunchy tannins and persistence.
It goes well with cured meat, rich dishes with chicken, mushroom, tomato, lentils and beans.
